Orchard service station started as a company approx 60 years ago, on a site in Mere near Knutsford opposite the Kilton inn. Here fresh out of the Army from doing his national service it took on a new apprentice Alan Spruce.
Fast forward 35 years and his son Paul joined as an apprentice, father and son taking over the ownership of the company, repairing and servicing local customers cars. They were joined by a third family member Gareth carrying on the family business tradition.
Today Orchard Service Station operates from a garage in High Legh after relocation following the redevelopment of the old site, here the two sons Gareth and Paul continue the family buisness with the same friendly professional service to generations of local customers.
